Mysuru Zoo, officially known as Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, is one of India's oldest zoological gardens. Established in 1892, it is known for its spacious naturalistic enclosures, extensive greenery, conservation breeding programs and diverse collection of native and exotic animals. The zoo houses mammals, birds, reptiles and other species and is one of Mysuru's most popular family attractions.
