Kashi Vishwanath Temple, located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also known as the Golden Temple, it stands in the sacred city of Varanasi near the Ganges. The present temple was constructed in 1780 by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore. The temple complex is an important pilgrimage destination and offers darshan, aarti and other religious services for devotees.
