Jaganmohan Palace is a historic royal palace in Mysuru that now houses an important art gallery and auditorium. Built in 1861, the palace became one of the residences of the Wadiyar royal family after the old wooden Mysore Palace was destroyed by fire. The building contains an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures and other artworks, including works associated with the Mysore, Tanjore and Indian artistic traditions. Its ornate faรงade and royal history make it an important cultural attraction in Mysuru.
