Gohar Mahal is a historic palace in Bhopal built in 1819 by Qudsia Begum, the first female ruler of Bhopal. Located near the Upper Lake, the palace is renowned for its beautiful blend of Hindu and Mughal architectural elements, ornate interiors, courtyards and traditional craftsmanship.
