Amer Fort, also known as Amber Fort, is one of Rajasthan's most magnificent hill forts and a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Located about 11 km from Jaipur, the fort was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I and later expanded by Mirza Raja Jai Singh. Constructed from red sandstone and white marble, the fort showcases a stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. It is renowned for attractions such as the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Ganesh Pol, Sukh Niwas, and beautiful courtyards overlooking Maota Lake. Amer Fort is one of India's most visited historical monuments and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Aravalli Hills.
