Patwon Ki Haveli is a magnificent collection of five interconnected havelis in the heart of Jaisalmer. Built by the wealthy Patwa merchant family during the 19th century, the complex is renowned for its intricate sandstone carvings, ornate balconies, jharokhas, mirror work, decorative ceilings and detailed interiors. It is one of the finest examples of Jaisalmer's traditional merchant architecture and houses museums displaying historical artefacts, textiles, furniture and artwork.
