Junagarh Fort is a magnificent historic fort in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Originally called Chintamani, the fort was built under the rule of Raja Rai Singh and is renowned for its grand palaces, courtyards, temples, gates and richly decorated interiors. Unlike many famous forts of Rajasthan, Junagarh Fort stands on the plains rather than on a hill.
