📖 About

Dhamnar Buddhist Caves are an important ancient rock-cut heritage site in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. The complex contains around 51 rock-cut caves, including Buddhist monasteries, chaityas, stupas and sculptures. The site is known for its ancient Buddhist architecture and large Buddha sculptures carved into the rock. The nearby Dharmarajeshwar rock-cut temple adds further historical importance to the area.
